Ministry Of Health (MOH)
ELCA conducts most of its activities in the MOH facilities allover the country. This is through close coordination and collaboration with the preventive and curative sectors of MOH. In 2008 ELCA conducted the base line survey on the WHO/ UNICEF’s Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI). In 2009 ELCA conducted code training and advocacy. In 2012 ELCA conducted Code status assessment. In 2013 ELCA conducted Kangaroo Mother Care and BFHI Assessors’ training. Also in 2013 and 2014 ELCA conducted Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative promotion training in many Egyptian Governorates. All those activities were carried out in MOH facilities.
