The Lactation Consultancy Comprehensive Course LCCC
Since 2004 ELCA have been conducting the successful Lactation consultancy comprehensive course LCCC which was formerly known as CPLM (Certificate Program in Lactation Management) under direction and supervision of Dr Amal El Taweel (head of the educational department).
This program has been successfully providing a unique, state of the art, comprehensive, up to date, evidence based postgraduate lactation management education and preparing healthcare professionals for the IBLCE examination.

Not only Does LCCC provide knowledge, it develop skills and change attitudes towards a mother baby dyad friendly medical and social practice.
The program was run onsite and online batches have been added since 2020 with outstanding success.

Course Requirements
To apply to the LCCC program you will need to have:
- – A bachelors degree of medicine.
- – A postgraduate sum of 1000 hours of contact with Mothers and infants in the first 2 years of life during the 5 years before the expected exam date.
- – Good command of English language.
- – Good computer skills
During the LCCC program you will need to have:
- – A PC or a laptop.
- – Active and fast internet connection.
Course Duration and Key Dates
MARCH program:
- – Registration & submission process: 1st of February.
- – Start Date: 1st of March.
- – End Date: 31st of October.
SEPTEMBER program:
- – Registration & submission process: 1st of August.
- – Start Date: 1st of September.
- – End Date: 30th of April.

The LCCC Program is the gem of ELCA’s educational department. All of ELCA’s educational department together with reputable national figures and international speakers contribute to teaching, training and mentoring LCCC’s students.
