ELCA invites you to The International Baby Food Action Network (IBFAN)’s Fourth World Breastfeeding Conference organized by IBFAN Arab World taking place from the 12th to 14th of March 2023 in InterContinental Citystars in the beautiful city of Cairo, Egypt.
ELCA is pleased to invite those interested in child health and nutrition to participate in the event Fourth World Breastfeeding Conference of the International Baby Food Action Network IBFAN. This global event is held every four years, and Egypt was chosen to organize the current session from 12 to 14 March 2023. The Fourth International Breastfeeding Conference brings together all segments of society and medicine concerned with maternal and child health to protect mothers and families from unethical marketing practices of breast-milk substitutes by enacting, monitoring and enforcing the necessary laws to end violations of the promotion of dairy products, ensuring that families have the correct information and sufficient knowledge to make decisions on feeding children , as well as providing them with the skills to support the health and nutrition of their children for the best start in life.
