ELCA is proud to announce the renewal of its collaboration with ELACTA, fostering greater support for breastfeeding advocacy in the region. ELACTA is the alliance of all IBCLC associations in Europe. ELCA is the only African and Arab member association in ELACTA.
“A cooperation that has been solid for 15 years have been renewed.”
We are excited to announce the renewal of a significant partnership that holds immense promise for advancing breastfeeding advocacy and support in Egypt. The Egyptian Lactation Consultants Association (ELCA) is proud to reaffirm its collaboration with ELACTA, marking a pivotal moment in our shared dedication to enhancing maternal and child health through breastfeeding education and advocacy.
In a joint effort to fortify the foundations of lactation consulting in the region, ELCA and ELACTA joined efforts once again. This renewed collaboration signifies our unwavering commitment to empowering lactation consultants, healthcare professionals, and communities to champion breastfeeding practices and maternal well-being across the region.
ELACTA’s expertise and experience in training and advocacy complement ELCA’s mission to provide support, education, and resources for lactation consultants. Together, we aim to elevate the standards of breastfeeding care, promote evidence-based practices, and foster a nurturing environment for mothers and families.
Through this partnership, ELCA and ELACTA seek to:
Enhance Education: By pooling resources and knowledge, through sharing expertise in developing and delivering comprehensive educational programs that equip lactation consultants with the latest tools and best practices in breastfeeding support.
Amplify Advocacy: Together, we will advocate for policies and initiatives that prioritize maternal and child health, raise awareness about the benefits of breastfeeding, and address societal challenges that impact breastfeeding rates.
Facilitate Networking: Our collaboration will create networking opportunities for professionals in the lactation field, fostering a community of support, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration.
The renewal of our partnership with ELACTA represents a significant milestone in our journey towards promoting breastfeeding advocacy and improving maternal and child health outcomes in Egypt. We are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and look forward to the positive impact we can make together.
